The story I'm about to tell is "The Tongueless Snake." Long ago, in a village, there was a young man who loved playing pranks. He was very fond of pranks, and would do anything without thinking it through. So, the villagers did not get along well with him. One day, the young man went out to the forest. While walking in the forest, he found a female snake coiled around a tree. In order not to be bitten by the snake, he caught the snake, and pulled out its tongue. Then, he brought the snake home and kept it in a cage. When night fell and it was time to sleep, the young man had a dream. In the dream, the husband of the female snake was looking for his wife sadly. "Oh, my wife has not returned even now tonight." "She hasn't come back even when it's time to make dinner." "I'm very worried about her." "What should I do?" He saw a dream where the snake's husband was very sad. So, when he woke up, he immediately released the snake he had captured. Upon releasing her, the snake went back to her husband. The snake's husband was overjoyed to see his wife. However, because the snake's wife had her tongue pulled out, no matter how much the husband talked, she could not speak at all. No matter how much she tried, no voice came out. So, the snake's husband opened his wife's mouth. Knowing that the young man had pulled out his wife's tongue, he was very sad. So, when the young man was sleeping again, the snake's husband came into his dream and said, "I appreciate that you released my wife." "But because you pulled out her tongue," "my wife can no longer speak." "Now, we as a couple cannot communicate with words." That's what he said in the dream. So, upon waking, the young man felt ashamed of his actions. He thought "I will stop such pranks from now on," and he changed his mind.
