The story I'm about to tell is called "The Snake that Turned into Gold". Once upon a time, there were three sisters. The eldest sister had a lot of lice in her hair. Her head was full of lice. The second sister was very poor. So, she picked mint and lived on porridge. One day, when the second sister went to pick mint, she passed by the eldest sister's house. Then the eldest sister said, "Sister, please take a look at my head." "If you find a louse," "I'll give you a measure of rice." Hearing this, the very poor second sister was delighted at the prospect of receiving rice and checked the eldest sister's head. However, even after finding 2 or 3 lice, the eldest sister did not give her any rice. As it was getting dark, the second sister said, "Sister, I need to go pick mint," and left with a large basket on her back. While she was picking mint, she found a large snake in her basket. So, she said, "Mr. Snake, please come out." "I'm poor," "and I have nothing to eat tonight," "that's why I'm picking mint." "Please come out," she pleaded, and continued picking mint. After a while, when she tried to put the mint in the basket, the snake was still inside. She said, "Please come out, Your Majesty." "If you don't come out this time," "I'll take you home" "and eat you." Saying this, she continued picking mint. When she returned after picking mint, the snake was still in the basket. So, she put the picked mint in the basket and took it home with the snake. When she got home, she boiled the mint and snake in a large pot all night. The foam that overflowed from the pot turned into gold. The entire pot was filled with gold. And so, she became wealthy. Having become rich, she no longer went to pick mint. The eldest sister wondered, "Why has my sister stopped picking mint?" When she went to see her sister, she found that her sister had become wealthy. "How did you become so rich?" she asked. The second sister then explained how she found a snake while picking mint and how the snake turned into gold. Envious of the second sister's wealth, the eldest sister went to pick mint just like her sister had. Just like her sister's experience, a large snake was in the basket. She said, "Mr. Snake, please come out." "I am poor and am picking mint." She continued picking mint. After a while, when she returned, the snake was still inside. On the third time, she said, "I'll eat you," and took the snake home. When she got home, just as her sister had said, she boiled the snake. The foam that overflowed from the pot turned into feces. The entire house was filled with feces. This happened because she did not keep her promises and harbored feelings of envy towards others.
