Details of recording Songs from the Wampana part of the Jardiwanpa song series from around Ngama and Wirnparrku. Jimmy and Dick are from Willowra – they know the Jardiwanpa song series well and since they had come to Yuendumu for Sorry Cobra wanted to take the opportunity to record it with them.

The songs were accompanied by a beat made with two boomerangs (made by Cobra) and the others made the same beat with sticks on the ground. Cobra said that it was clear they knew the songs really well because they were “changing songs really quick”.
